Spring Wish List: 7 Petite Pieces to Take From Winter to Spring

Spring Wish List: 7 Petite Pieces to Take From Winter to Spring

Hello petite ladies! Spring is here, and we're thrilled. We all know what that means: bringing out your colors and most fun pieces. But for those of us who are still trying to get through the cold season, that can be hard.

But don't worry—we've got you covered. Check out these petite-friendly pieces that will help you get through the winter-to-spring clothing transition:

1. Trench Coats

SHEFFIELD Belted Slim Trench Coat

Wear your trench coat throughout the spring. Combining your trench coat with a striped shirt is a classic spring look. Add some floral designs to the mix, and you've got yourself a pretty lovely ensemble! If you want a trench coat for this spring, get this amazing piece SHEFFIELD Belted Trench Coat from Dane Fashion.

2. Pleated Skirts

LIKE A DREAM Pleated Midi Skirt

Yes, pleated skirts are in style in winter 2020. You may still wear them in the spring with little adjustments. Pleated textiles are extremely attractive for petite ladies of all shapes and sizes. Pleated fabrics, whether in a flowing skirt or sculptural sleeve, lend a lot of intrigue and elegance. Get your hands on this amazing midi skirt for $34.

3. Mules

OLIVIA Mule

Put on open-toed shoes or mules. These are so versatile, they can go with almost anything! We love them because they're so comfortable and easy to put on in a hurry when we're running late for work or school.

This isn't for the faint of heart because I'm still wearing wool socks and boots, but if your temperature is a little milder, you might be able to swap out your winter footwear for these open-toed beauties.

4. Boots

TORI Knee High Boot

Boots are a staple in most women's wardrobes—and if you don't have a pair yet, now's the time! The good news is that you can still wear them in the spring. They look great with everything from jeans to dresses and skirts.

Pair over-the-knee boots with a feminine skirt or dress. This is not just a gorgeous combo, but it's also a terrific way to integrate additional playful spring pieces! The TORI Knee High Boot is incredible. Dane Fashion has this pair on sale for $87 (Available in many sizes and different colors).

5. Co-ord Sets

A co-ord, also known as a multi-piece set, is an ensemble comprised of matching colors, designs, or textiles. They are pieces that are made to be worn together, such as a matching blouse and skirt combination or a co-cord jacket and skirt set. These are perfect because they make you look pulled together with minimal effort. Wear as a set or mix-and-match with your other favorite pieces!

6. Cardigans

FAVORITE SEASON Knit Cardigan

A simple cardigan to have on hand at all times because the weather is still unpredictable, and you don't want to be caught without layers. Cardigans are great because they work well over dresses or skirts on chilly days—and they come in all different colors and patterns! You can even layer them over each other if you want extra warmth or texture in an outfit.

This knit cardigan is even better than it seems in the photo! The material is lovely. This fabric is extremely breathable. It's the ideal weight and will look great on petite ladies. It's ideal for spring. Dane Fashion has it for $39 right now (available in 4 colors).

7. Sweater Tops

Last but not least, a must have for every woman's closet: a sweater. They can be dressed up or down and look great on everyone. Pair them with jeans or a pencil skirt for work, or wear them with leggings during the weekend. They come in many colors so finding one to match your wardrobe shouldn’t be too difficult!

TIPS & TRICKS

Transitioning into spring will take a little time, especially if you're trying to clear out your winter clothes and make room for spring pieces.  And even if you're not entirely tired of your winter wardrobe, it's a good idea to mix in a little spring style with your regular lineup. So, we hope you enjoyed these stylish and petite just-in-time pieces.

Keep in mind that just because the weather is warming up doesn't mean you have to jump right on the florals and bright colors. A simple shift in color palette can be enough to freshen up your spring wardrobe.
